This is the view of the responsible person (Team Coach, Unit Coach, or HR Manager). Open your opportunity, for example in the Manage opportunities tab. Under Applicants you see every application with the profile, the match, and the person’s message.
You see each applicant’s public profile and skills, not private data.
An application has one of five statuses (this is the application status, not the opportunity status):
- Applied: a talent applied to this opportunity.
- In the shortlist: you take a closer look.
- Selected: your decision for this person.
- Not selected: you do not move forward with it.
- Withdrawn: the person withdrew it themselves.
At every status change you decide whether the person gets an email. If you set the opportunity to filled or closed, open applications automatically move to not selected, with an optional notification.
History and archive
With internal placements, people want to understand how a decision was made. An applicant may ask why they were not selected. A manager needs to be able to explain why one person fit better than another. Teammeter keeps this traceable.
Every opportunity keeps a history that you open via Show history, so status changes stay traceable. Rejected applications are documented and not deleted. Closed and filled opportunities are archived in the system and feed the statistics, so personnel decisions remain fully traceable.
Depending on the factors that matter for the opportunity, decisions become transparent down to the detail. The match breakdown per skill shows which skills spoke for or against a placement: whether a person holds the required skill directly or partly meets it through a related skill, at which level, and how strongly that skill was weighted (nice to have, important, or essential). So you can compare the fulfilment level granularly and explain how each person’s match was calculated.
