Why organizations build on SkillNexus

SkillNexus is the AI-powered skill graph in Teammeter. AI tailors it to your business, builds it from your own data and keeps it up to date.

Built from your data

AI builds your skill graph from the data you import: job postings, CVs and projects.

Employees suggest skills, and Teammeter recognizes which skills matter to your organization and which are becoming obsolete.

AI describes each skill’s levels in terms of results, so employees and managers assess levels more accurately.

How AI builds and maintains your skill graph

These functions work with your skill graph day to day.

Explore each function:

Skill inference

AI derives skills from the data you import. A CV turns into the skills of a profile, and a role name or job description turns into a role with its skills.

Skill data, skill inference and skill matching in SkillNexus

Skill gap analysis

The analysis shows the difference between a person’s skills and levels and what a role or project requires. Because AI describes every level in terms of results, employees and managers know what the next level actually takes. Transfer scores show whether a related skill shortens the ramp-up time.

Skill data

Employees suggest missing skills themselves, and AI completes each new one with a description and translations in all catalog languages. Once three teams or three people use a suggested skill, Teammeter puts it up for review. The company skills report shows which skills count and which are becoming obsolete.

Skill matching

The function compares what a role, project or internal position requires with the skills and levels on employee profiles and shows each person’s match as a percentage. If the required skill is missing from a profile, a related skill counts with its transfer score.

Smart recommendations

The function suggests the learning content employees need for their development or an upcoming project. It filters courses through the relationships “is a prerequisite for” and “requires”, which AI maintains in the skill graph.
